Terms of Use
Website use, seven-day trials and the path to production.
Last updated: 21 October 2026

Using CEBS ID Secure
These terms apply to the ID Secure website, portal and evaluation access made available by CEBS WORLDWIDE. Use the service only if you are authorized to act for yourself or your organization. Keep registration information accurate and protect your own credentials. Account access requires email verification and two-step sign-in.
Trial licenses and seven-day evaluations
A trial is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to evaluate the provided product plan and application scope for seven consecutive days from activation. The account's displayed expiry and evaluation conditions apply. Only a CEBS Administrator may approve an extension, with seven days by default or an approved calendar end date. A maximum of five approved extensions is allowed per owner and product plan. Creating more applications, accounts or projects must not be used to restart or extend an evaluation. A trial does not renew automatically, incur an automatic payment or convert automatically into a paid subscription.
Permitted evaluation use
Use trial access for authorized development, integration and functional assessment within the stated application and platform scope. Evaluate only documents you have permission to process. Trial access is not a production license, a warranty of document authenticity or approval for automated regulated decisions. Availability and qualification are described in the Trust Center. Evaluation access may expire, be suspended or be revoked for misuse or breach of its conditions.
What happens when a trial ends
When a trial expires or is revoked, evaluation access stops. Stop using the trial rights and arrange any required production authorization separately. An approved extension is recorded against the existing trial; users cannot extend their own access. A quote request, application record or portal evaluation reference does not itself issue a signed production entitlement.
Your documents and responsibilities
Your organization remains responsible for lawful document collection and processing, required notices, permissions, retention decisions, secure integration and review of results. In a fully customer-managed on-premise deployment, CEBS has no document-data storage, retained copy or access. Additional cloud or hybrid services require an agreed data flow. Do not submit identity document contents in ordinary support requests.
Acceptable use
Do not share credentials, bypass access or usage controls, resell an evaluation, probe another organization's records, introduce malicious software or use the service unlawfully. Do not reverse engineer or remove license notices except to the extent applicable law permits. Report suspected security issues through CEBS support channels without accessing or disclosing other users' information.
Paid plans and production agreements
Production licensing, supported document scope, scan allowances, prepaid monthly or annual charges, excess usage, renewal, cancellation, hosting and support are confirmed in your commercial agreement. Prices are available after sign-in. Submitted enquiries and quotes are not payments or production activation. A signed agreement governs the services it covers; these website terms do not expand an evaluation into production rights.
Intellectual property and third-party materials
CEBS and its licensors retain rights in the software, branding and website materials. Your organization retains its rights in documents and data it lawfully supplies. Software components and third-party materials remain subject to their applicable license notices. Access does not transfer ownership of CEBS intellectual property.
Availability, limitations and mandatory rights
Evaluation results depend on the provided capabilities, supported documents, capture quality and operating environment. Test representative devices and workflows before relying on an integration. Do not treat an unavailable or unqualified result as a positive authenticity finding. Contractual warranties, liability limits, service levels and dispute arrangements are addressed in the applicable agreement. Nothing here excludes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms and publish the revised version here. Material changes to an agreed paid service are handled according to its contract. Contact CEBS if you need clarification before activating an evaluation or agreeing production terms.
Contact and related policies
Contact CEBS WORLDWIDE through the corporate contact form. If you have an account, you can also use workspace Support. Do not send identity documents, passwords, sign-in codes or reset links in an ordinary support message.
